My theory that the flash can become more powerfull than any of the other heroes was there....
Of course, as he said, going at that level or beyond will take him to another reality, dimension, or something else.....
Don't know if this was already shown in the comics.....

Not sure about the regular Flash comics; but in Kingdom Come - Flash exists on multiple planes/dimentions at the same time.

The Flash, May 1982, #309. Flash goes into the future with an advanced "human" to save the planet. So I would imagine that he could be virtually imortal with the ability to break the time barrier. In another book Superman cannot vibrate at the same speeds as Flash I would imagin that those 2 would really be the only ones that could possibly "live forever"
